BMW Expands Pioneering X Family Lineup in China
All-New BMW X5 is Arriving Soon

(Beijing) On March 1st, the all-new BMW X5, the new flagship of the BMW's local models is announced to arrive soon and countdown to its market launch. This latest masterpiece will make BMW’s locally produced lineup the most abundant and most diversified among all the premium auto manufacturers in China. As BMW’s highlight model in China for the year of 2022, the all-new BMW X5 combines a robust and imposing design, an ingeniously luxurious interior, cutting-edge digital innovations and outstanding dynamic performance to present itself as the market leader in the luxury Sport Activity Vehicle segment with its top nine highlights.

In terms of design, the all-new BMW X5 keeps the classic proportions of a SAV model. The new car offers the M Sports Package as standard with the particularly impressive M sport braking calipers in blue color presenting high performance characteristics. The all-new BMW X5 increases its wheelbase by 130 mm to 3,105 mm, the longest in its segment, bringing it an elongated and elegant silhouette to an already powerful and robust body. In addition, the new model comes with LED headlights, with Laser headlight as an option and standard on high configuration variant. The Blue X-shaped elements inside the headlights make an extremely scientific and futuristic visual statement.

The all-new BMW X5 with luxurious and immersive ambient lighting offers a ceremonial driving experience. The welcome light carpet illuminates the entry area to the car even before getting into the car. Inside, the intelligent ambient lighting and panoramic sky lounge create a more exquisite aura. The pearl-effect chrome applied in the steering wheel and doors, the metallic speaker cover of the Harman Kardon Hifi system are paired with crystal glass applications at the gear selector to accentuate a more refined and luxurious ambience. Additionally, with in-depth understanding of the Chinese customer needs, a repositioned wireless charging area for mobile phone and comfort seats have been developed for the new car, both features are China exclusive.

The all-new BMW X5 xDrive 30Li is powered by the latest 2.0L turbo-charged inline four-cylinder engine and the all-new BMW X5 xDrive 40Li is equipped with a turbo-charged 3.0 litre inline six-cylinder engine, which has enjoyed international fame and won many authoritative engine awards. The powerful engine can help the car sprint from standstill to 100km/h in 6 seconds and reach a top speed of 238 km/h. Thanks to the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, air suspension with intelligent damping and electronic vehicle damper control, the new vehicle showcases excellent all-road driving capabilities.
