The All-New BMW 3 Series National Media Test Drive
Held in Wuqing V1 International Racetrack

(Beijing) The national media test drive of the All-new BMW 3 Series was successfully held between June 26th and July 2nd. The event started from Tianjin V1 International Racetrack, and finished at Jinhai Lake in Beijing, demonstrating the perfect balance of sheering driving pleasure and thrilling luxury.

The challenging programs took place at V1 International Racetrack, such as Gymkhana, drifting, and hot laps, showcased vividly of the 3 Series’ strength as the “King of Sports”. As a premium auto manufacturer with over 100 years of experience, BMW engineers were able to give the car an even more precise tuning. The chassis with innovative new shock absorber technology offers the cars a higher level of balance, more comfort for daily driving while great stability at high speed.

The exciting dynamic performance comes also from the fully upgraded BMW 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine. The high-precision injection pressure in the cylinder is raised from a maximum of 200 bar to 350 bar. The 325 model’s maximum torque has increased by 10% to 300 Nm, while the fuel consumption/100km is reduced to 6.0 litres. At the same time, the classic 50:50 weight distribution, together with stiffer body, lower center of gravity, wider front and rear track width, giving the car a much better performance especially when cornering.

The scenery test drive is a 2-hour driving to Jinhai Lake Resort in Beijing through a beautiful highway and mountain road. The fresh new interior design with largest panoramic sunroof in segment, China exclusive comfort seats and standard 3-zone air conditioning, offering the next level of well-being. The Syntak technology applied to the new 3series highly improves acoustic effect and make the journey very pleasant together with the Harman/kardon audio system.

The innovative technology on the new model reveals a sense of future. It includes the newly designed 12.3” digital instrumental cluster, 10.25” central touch screen, iDrive 7.0 operation system, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.

Participants also fully experienced the innovative driving assistant technology on the new generation 3 series, which features L2 autonomous driving functions such as Traffic Jam Assistant and Reverse Assistant.

As the most import model of BMW Brilliance in 2019, the All-new BMW 3 has upgraded its handling performance as well as its unprecedented luxuriousness and innovative technology. Same as every generation of BMW 3 Series, the 7th generation 3 Series will be an icon of the new era, and continues the legend as the “King of Sports”.
