Locally Produced All-new BMW 3 Series to be Unveiled at the 2019
Shanghai Auto Show

(Beijing) On April 16, 2019, the locally produced all-new BMW 3 Series models will debut at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. The new model has been developed synchronously alongside the new overseas version, while offering the long wheelbase and standard wheelbase versions tailor-made for Chinese users. In keeping with its sporting origins, this generation embodies progressive design, unrivalled dynamics, striking innovations and next level of well-being.

In 1975, the BMW 3 Series founded the premium sports sedan segment. Thanks to its great performance, it has won over 15.5 million owners worldwide. The BMW 3 Series is also the first BMW model locally produced by the joint venture BMW Brilliance, allowing Chinese customers to experience the thrilling driving experience of a premium sports car.

The driving performance of the new model once again surpasses that of previous generations.

The B-Series from the latest generation of power units together with the eight-speed Steptronic transmission brings sports performance with exceptional efficiency and minimised emissions. BMW engineers have also granted the new model precise handling and perfectly balanced 50:50 axle load distribution for the best-ever riding and driving dynamics among generations of 3series.

The all-new BMW 3 Series will be the first BMW model to enter the China market equipped with Intelligence Personal Assistant. It is not only a BMW car expert that understands the ins and outs of your vehicle, but also a personal assistant that can learn the needs of its user. On the new model, this BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, together with the BMW iDrive Operating System7.0 and the futuristic BMW Live Cockpit, will create a brand new digitalized way of interaction between user and vehicle.

The locally produced model has undergone a number of be spoke adjustments to cater the needs of Chinese customers. The extended wheelbase models, combined with the China specific panoramic sunroof, newly designed China comfort seats and situation-based ambient lighting, providing a one of a kind luxurious cockpit experience.
