The efficient construction of BMW Training Center Shanghai
The BMW Shanghai Training Center is located at the No. 12 Land Parcel, Industry Innovation Center, North Area of Jiading Industrial Zone, Shanghai, and covers 10,000 square meters. BMW Brilliance signed a cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Jiading Industrial Zone in December 2007 and construction began in March 2008. Operation began in March 2009, and its official opening was held in early May 2009. The process only took 18 months in total. The construction was strongly supported by the local government. The cooperation between both parties has been highly fruitful and enjoyable.
The construction of the center is divided into two stages. Investment amounts to about RMB 100 million during the first stage alone. In 2009, the BMW Training Center Shanghai will deliver more than 18,000 TMD. From then on, it will deliver more than 23,000 TMD annually including 13,000 TMD in technical training and 10,000 TMD non-technical training. On the basis of the current training courses in the Beijing Training Center, the Shanghai Training Center has now added car body and painting training according to market demand, and brought BMW Brand Academy into its long-term plan.
