(Beijing/Shenyang.) On International Working Women's Day on March 8th, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. announced the first Annual Best Female Associates list, and rewarded the 19 female associates to honour their great contribution to the company.
BMW Brilliance has always been regarding employees as their most important asset, and has integrated developing corporate culture and employee welfare into the long-term development strategy of the company. BMW Brilliance firmly believes in its core values of "trust, understanding, cooperation, and responsibility". Currently, there are a total of 419 female employees in BMW Brilliance, about 20% of the total employee number, including 141 working on the production line. They are making their own contributions to the development of the company just like their male co-workers. At the same time, caring about the life and professional development of female employees has also become an important part of the corporate culture at BMW Brilliance.
This award was jointly initiated by BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. and the workers' union. A judge panel made up of both sides chose the winners through a strict screening process. The goal of this award is to encourage female employees to create their own development space, and cultivate an active, lively, independent and creative modern female outlook on life. This in turn will encourage all employees in their work, as well as healthy and active living, making for a healthy and harmonious corporate environment.

BMW Brilliance was registered in May 2003. With the support of both foreign and Chinese shareholders and the local government, after more than 4 years of development, Plant Shenyang has become a modern BMW plant manufacturing the BMW 3 Series and 5 Series matching BMW global standard. By the end of 2007, more than 80,000 BMW 3 Series and 5 Series vehicles have been delivered.
