(Beijing.) Today, two variants of the new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase (LCI) are launched in Beijing. They are the new BMW 530Li Luxury and the new BMW 525Li Luxury, and are priced respectively at 712,600 RMB and 625,600 RMB. BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. has begun all-round technical enhancement of the BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase.
The fifth generation of the BMW 5 Series was launched in the Chinese market in 2003. In November 2006, BMW Group and BMW Brilliance launched the BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase, which was specially designed for the Chinese consumers, into the Chinese market.
In 2007, BMW Group completed the lifecycle impetus of the BMW 5 Series worldwide. At the same time, BMW Brilliance has done a full-scale technical enhancement of the BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase, improving on exterior, interior decoration, and technology. The two variants launched today are the new BMW 530Li Luxury and the new BMW 525Li Luxury.

Latest technology
With the world's lightest and modern 6-cylinder engine, the new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase was supplied with the best power-weight ratio. In addition, the lightweight body makes the new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase the most fuel-efficient car in its class. The enhanced model has been redesigned in both the front and rear exterior, and applied LED technology to further enhance safety of the vehicle.
Advanced equipment
The new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase supplies the passenger with a rear seat entertainment system, and is the first in its class to apply an electronic gear selector worldwide. BMW's original iDrive central information processing system has also been updated with additional eight favorite buttons. Standard equipment also includes comfort access and Logic 7 in the new BMW 530Li.
