BMW Premium Selection, named "BMW Zunxuan Ershou Che" in Chinese, is the first pre-owned vehicle certification program initiated in 2003 by the BMW Group within the international premium brands. In the Chinese market, December 20th 2005, the BMW Premium Selection Program was initiated at Beijing Chendebao and Shanghai Baozeng. This number will grow to more than 30 by the end of 2008.
The authorized BMW Premium Selection dealers select high quality BMW pre-owned vehicles from retained customers – the vehicle should have a service life of less than four years, logged less than 80,000 kilometers, have true BMW service maintenance records and be in good condition. The vehicle will need exterior as well as mechanical and electrical reconditioning, and must be able to pass 100 BMW Premium Selection professional technology and exterior standards in order to sell as a BMW Premium Selection vehicle. If any of the standards cannot be matched, the vehicle can only be sold as a normal BMW pre-owned car.
