On the night of Jun.19th, BMW Night – Anne-Sophie Mutter Violin Recital made a big hit at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center on the night June 19. The world-famous violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter with accompaniment from her long-time collaborator, pianist Lambert Orkis performed five Mozart sonatas.

Mutter interpreted the composer's deep inside and delicate feelings perfectly in her own passionate way. The audience gave a storm of applause when her finishing the repertoire and Mutter encored with two pieces. In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth, the violin virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter has started her 2006 world performance tour by presenting the three classic Mozart's violin works to the global audience, which is named the Mozart Project.
