January 18, Mr. Eberhard C. Schrempf, President and CEO of BMW Brilliance Automobile Ltd. was selected as "one of the Most Excellent Executives of foreign companies in Liaoning Province", at yesterday's Spring festival party for foreign enterprises in Shenyang, held by Liaoning provincial government. Mr. Zhang Wenyue, Governor of Liaoning Province presented the award to Mr. Schrempf.

BMW Brilliance Automobile Ltd. was also awarded one of the Top Ten Taxpayers among foreign enterprises in Liaoning Province. Since its establishment in May 2003 to the end of 2005, BMW Brilliance has delivered more than 30,000 cars of the BMW 3 Series and BMW 5 Series to customers, with total accumulative tax and duty exceeding RMB 5 billion.

Since the tenure of Mr. Schrempf in early 2005, BMW Brilliance has achieved pleasant results. In 2005, the sales performance of BMW Brilliance achieved 15,300 units, representing an increase of 76.7% on the previous year.
